Farid Jattin
Es uno de los jugadores más importantes del póker mundial. Farid Jattin, aunque nació en Colombia, desde recién nacido reside en Miami en Estados Unidos, hoy ocupa el puesto 23 del ranking mundial, pero llegó a estar en la quinta posición del ranking global.
Su carrera inició en la era digital, por lo que las primeras participaciones con premios en efectivo se dieron mediante el póker online. Sin embargo, cuando tenía 18 años, ganó 40 mil dólares en un torneo en vivo de un casino cercano a su hogar. Fue su primer campeonato grande y en el que pudo demostrar sus capacidades cara a cara con otros jugadores.
Su nombre alcanzó notoriedad en los circuitos de poker cuando en 2014 logró un cobro de 60 mil dólares en el evento principal de la WSOP, siendo este el principio ya que pronto obtuvo un premio de 746 mil dólares en la mesa final del Player Championship en Bahamas, el Merit Series of Póker, en 2015, donde sacó el bote mayor y se llevó más de 120 mil dólares. En 2017 ganó el evento principal del Winter Póker Open, en Tampa, sumando unos 240 mil dólares. Además, se hizo con torneos como el Potomac Póker Open y el Aussie Millions en Australia con un premio de $ 678,831.
